George F. Fonda drugstore. [1886-1892]

Views of the interior of the Fonda drugstore at 1218 Pearl Street. One photo shows George Fonda and an unidentified clerk taken shortly after the drugstore moved to 1218 Pearl; note spittoon in the middle of the floor. Another photo shows Fonda and a clerk behind a display featuring Spalding baseball bats and other athletic supplies. A third photo shows druggist Eben Fine mixing a prescription, watched by Fonda, A. T. Henry, Sr., Indian Jack Wallace, and Samuel Border.

Harry H. Miller of Logansport, Indiana joined the 20th Indiana Volunteer Infantry in 1861 and became First Sergeant of Company F on July 22, 1861.
